Membership Eligibility
The applicant must have served at least one day of active military duty during one of the dates below and have been honorably discharged or are still serving honorably.
New and transferring members can use their DD-214 or other discharge papers, Michigan Driver’s License with the VETERAN endorsement as well as a military retiree card. Active duty can use their military ID as proof of military service.
- December 7, 1941 to Present
- April 6, 1917 to November 11, 1918  (World War I)
Transfers
Veterans applying for transfers from your current Post to our Post must submit the following:
- Completed Transfer Application (Member Data Form)
- Copy of your DD214 or Discharge papers
- Membership dues payment, if current year dues are not paid. If current dues are paid, please pay dues for next year’s membership.
